Tutorial….
Are ya’ll ready? (I never say ya’ll…??) Whatever. Today we learn, unless you already know, how to make cross 2 left and cross 2 right sts. Aren’t you excited!? Um, ok, fine. This post is VERY image heavy, which I hope you thank me later for.
We’re going to do C2L, followed by 2 knit sts, then the C2R.
Step one:

Insert the RIGHT needle into the second st from the end through the back loop.
Step 2:

Wrap the yarn and knit that stitch.
Step 3:

Insert the RIGHT needle purlwise into the first stitch and slide both now-worked stitches off together.
This is what it should look like:

Ok. Take a deep breath. That’s over. Now, we’ll do the C2R stitch.
Step #1:

Insert the RIGHT needle into the second stitch from the end of the LEFT needle purlwise.
Step #2:

This is a TAD tricky. Rotate the RIGHT needle clockwise while holding onto (with your left thumb) the stitch you just inserted the needle into. This takes a couple tries, but you’ll get it.
Step #3:

It’ll look something like this.
Step #4:

Then just knit the first stitch normally and slide them both off together. It should look like this:

Whew. Take another deep breath. The hard part is OVER, BABY!!!! Aw yeah! Anyway, now each twist row alternates with a regular knit row. But you wanna make sure you knit the newly twisted stitches in the correct order when you come back around to them.
Here we’ve come back around, and this is what they’ll look like:

I’m going to just post all 4 steps in a row with the final picture of what they will look like completed. But, the order is, if you’re on a regular knit row of a C2L - you will knit the non-slipped stitch of the previous round first, then the slipped, elongated stitch as shown in the picture, and then with the C2R, reverse that. You knit the slipped, elongated stitch first, then knit the regular stitch next.

I hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
